The way I got interested in web and graphic design was in trying to create my own blog and website headers. First with Paint Shop Pro, back in the day. And then with Adobe Photoshop.
On the left, there are a few examples of some of my personal favourites, which all happen to belong to a series of header designs I’ve made for websites listed under the Fanlistings.Org directory. Its subjects range from painters, to cheese, literary characters and a music album.
El Tesoro – Magnum
For the subject Publicidad Online (Online Advertising), during my Erasmus exchange, we were tasked with creating the layout for the landing page of a campaign by the ice cream brand Magnum. We decided to use the Pirates of the Caribbean theme and turn each ice cream into a part of the treasure – dark chocolate and white pearls on the outside was Perla (Pearl), ruby chocolate and dark chocolate was Rubi (Ruby), mango and white chocolate was Diamond, and pistachio and dark chocolate was Esmeralda (Emerald). We also planned an interactive online game, to which we included a banner.
I’ve also created banners, specifically social media banners and one where people would click to play a game called “El Tesoro” (The Treasure).
